Pete Hollaender patents his first product — an innovative adjustable bathtub hanger.
The Hollaender Hanger Company was formed

The Hollaender Manufacturing Company was incorporated
The purpose was to form a company to manufacture and distribute the four plumbing specialties he had patented and developed.
Nu-Rail fitting developed

American Standard Company lists Nu-Rail in its catalog
First manufacturer's rep — Bennett Company of Falmouth, Massachusetts
Pete began the acquisition of Grarokett Foundry

Expansion and the Second Generation
Purchase of 6.5 acres in Woodlawn, Ohio
This would become the site of the future Hollaender corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities.

Pete Hollaender becomes ill and resigns the presidency. His son, Robert P. Hollaender, Sr. (Bob Sr.) takes over as President and oversees new foundry construction.

The new Holco Foundry at 10303 Wayne Avenue produces its very first Nu-Rail fitting on Pete's final birthday.
Pete Hollaender passes away
Founder Pete Hollaender passes away. Bob Sr. continues to lead, initiating a massive growth period where sales increase ten-fold in less than ten years.
Need for expanded manufacturing space
Plans begin to move the rest of the company out of Spring Grove Avenue to a modern, one-floor plant adjacent to the Woodlawn foundry.
New headquarters opens
The new Hollaender Manufacturing Company's corporate headquarters opens.
Marc Cetrulo joins the company
Marc Cetrulo joins the company as a draftsman while completing his engineering degree.

Bob Sr. resigns
Bob Sr. resigns the presidency after 25 years. His son, Robert P. Hollaender, II (Rob II), becomes President and CEO, while Douglas L. Hollaender becomes Vice President.

The company transitions toward "World Class Manufacturing," heavily training associates and restructuring processes to eliminate waste and stay globally competitive.
New Foundry plans begin
Plans begin for a new, environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art foundry.
New Holco foundry opens
The new $3.5 million foundry produces its first production castings.
Robert P. Hollaender, Sr. passes away
Bob Sr. passes away. Robert P. Hollaender II takes on the role as CEO of The Hollaender Manufacturing Company.
Push to build Fabrication business
Facing intense pressure from low-cost international competitors, Rob II rejects expert advice to move production offshore. Instead, he heavily invests in US personnel and equipment and begins expanding the fledgling aluminum architectural railing business.

Modern Era and Future Growth
Marc Cetrulo promoted to President
Rob II promotes Marc Cetrulo to President while remaining CEO. They build a dynamic management team that includes Robert P. Hollaender III (the fourth generation) alongside several management members promoted directly from the production shop floor.
Newman Brothers acquisition
Hollaender acquires Newman Brothers, a local fabricator of stainless steel and structural glass railing, expanding their architectural product offerings.
Somerset Expansion
To meet growing production needs, Hollaender expands outside of Cincinnati and opens a second machining production facility in Somerset, Kentucky.
Fabrication expansion investment
The company breaks ground on a $4.8 million expansion — the largest in its history — to build a dedicated facility for the aluminum and stainless steel railing division.
New Fabrication facility opens
Championed by Robert P. Hollaender III, the new fabrication building construction project is completed.
Celebrating 95 years
The company marks its 95th anniversary, growing from a one-man shop with a $185 carpetbag of tools into a global enterprise with more than 85 associates.
Welcoming the Fifth Generation
Patrick (Petey) Hollaender joins the manufacturing team as the fifth generation of the Hollaender family.
