Hollaender supplied the complete railing package for the Waynesville Performing Arts Center, a 460-seat multipurpose auditorium serving both the Wayne Local School District and the surrounding Waynesville, Ohio community. The scope covered every guarding and handrail condition in the building, from the lobby and vomitory to the tiered seating, stairs, ramps, and sloped aisles.

The scope covered every guarding and handrail condition in the building, from the lobby and vomitory to the tiered seating, stairs, ramps, and sloped aisles. Two systems were paired to meet the competing demands of a performance venue. KLEAR™ was top-mounted with an internal flange for a clean, uninterrupted glass line where sightlines to the stage matter most, while QUAD™ was specified in both top-mount and side-mount level configurations to negotiate constant elevation changes without breaking the visual rhythm of the rail. Post and wall mounted ADA compliant handrail delivers a continuous graspable rail throughout. A dark bronze anodized finish carries across both systems, paired with clear tempered glass infill and a matching bronze grab rail. The warm, low-reflectance surface absorbs rather than bounces house and stage light, while the clear glass keeps lobby and seating areas visually open and preserves supervision lines. The result meets the accessibility and life-safety demands of a public assembly venue while staying deliberately quiet, letting the architecture and the performance hold the audience's attention.
