The reimagined Broad Street now boasts four vehicle lanes, a two-way raised bike lane, and a scenic pedestrian plaza overlooking the Reserve Basin. Hollaender’s Speed-Rail® with Mesh infill proved to be an ideal railing system, seamlessly blending with the area’s nautical and industrial character. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the system—featuring architectural-grade clear anodized aluminum pipe, clear anodized cast aluminum-magnesium 535 Speed-Rail® structural pipe fittings, and fabricated mesh infill panels—offers exceptional corrosion resistance and durability. The clear anodized finish elegantly complements the stone pillars throughout the pier area. Manufactured and assembled at Hollaender’s facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Somerset, Kentucky, the Speed-Rail® structural pipe fittings and all Hollaender railing systems fully satisfy requirements for Made-in-the-USA materials.
